Hola a todos! tengo una Canaima con Windows 7 32 bits instalado recién formateada, pero algunos vídeos, especialmente aquellos ligeramente pesados, le van lento, es decir, con interrupciones en el vídeo (no así para el audio). Lo mismo pasa en los navegadores cuando pongo un vídeo en Youtube algo largo, el vídeo comienza a dar saltos y se cuelga. Me han dicho que es que el SO es demasiado para esa Canaima y que le ponga XP, pero creen de verdad que sea necesario cambiarle el SO, no me seguirá dando el mismo problema en XP? mi Canaima es la segunda versión que sacaron, tiene un HDD de 160 GB, 1 GB de RAM y un procesador Intel Atom N270/N450/455 1600 MHz.

Tiene muy poca RAM para llevar bien el Windows 7. Si quieres ver vídeos, o le subes la memoria a 2 GB, o la pasas a Windows XP, aunque la verdad que usar XP a estas alturas da escalofríos.

Además de lo que te recomienda Lma76, estoy casi seguro que no tiene instalado el controlador de video. Prueba eso primero y luego observa que tal te va con los videos.

ademas de que necesitas minimo 2GB para Windows 7...
tambien puede ser que ese cpu/gpu no tiene suficiente potencia para reproducir fluidamente videos HD (720p ó 1080p).
es decir, solo pueder reproducir videos hasta 480p.
